Dr. Sarah Schacht

Leading the clinic is Dr. Sarah Schacht, our head veterinarian. She acquired her bachelor’s degree in Biological Science at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. After graduation, she moved to Ohio to pursue her dream of becoming a Veterinarian. It became a reality when she received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She then moved back to Puerto Rico to work at an exclusive equine referral clinic. After one year, she moved to Tampa where she married her husband, who is a former classmate, and a fellow veterinarian.

Her Background

In Tampa, she worked at a facility with a mixed animal practice and later, at a small animal practice. In 1996, Dr. Sarah and her husband bought their first practice where they worked together for more than 10 years. Her special interests are internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Sarah Schacht decided to open a vet clinic in Palm Harbor to be closer to her family, and to offer to Palm Harbor and the surrounding areas outstanding, cutting-edge, and compassionate veterinary care.
